Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Refund

We understand that sometimes services may not meet your expectations. To ensure fair treatment for both parties, we have established the following eligibility criteria:

• Timeframe: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the initial service delivery date or project milestone completion.
• Service Dissatisfaction: If you are dissatisfied with our customized solutions (web development, SEO services, e-commerce development, etc.), please contact our support team immediately to discuss the issue and explore resolution options.
• Tangible Services Only: Refunds will only be considered for tangible services that have not been fully delivered, implemented, or deployed to production environments.
• Good Faith Requirement: Refund requests must be made in good faith. Any attempt to exploit this policy after full service delivery and implementation will be declined.

2. Non-Refundable Items & Services

The following services and situations are NOT eligible for refunds:

Completed Services:

• Once a service is fully rendered, developed, implemented, and delivered in accordance with the agreed scope of work, no refunds will be provided.
• Services that have been deployed to live production environments (websites, e-commerce stores, web applications) are non-refundable.
• Completed SEO campaigns, including keyword research, on-page optimization, backlink building, and content creation that has been delivered and implemented.

Third-Party Costs:

• Domain name registration fees
• Web hosting services and server costs
• SSL certificates
• Premium themes, plugins, or software licenses purchased on your behalf
• Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or any paid advertising campaigns already launched
• Third-party API integration fees
• Payment gateway setup fees

Promotional & Discounted Services:

• Services purchased under promotional offers, special discounts, or limited-time deals may not be eligible for a refund.
• Bundled service packages at discounted rates are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

Change of Mind:

• Refunds will not be issued due to a change of mind after project initiation or after design/development approval.
• If you decide to discontinue a project mid-way, you will be charged for the work completed up to that point.

3. Refund Process

If you believe you are eligible for a refund based on the criteria above, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Contact Our Support Team

To initiate a refund request, please contact our support team at info@lonertechltd.net.ng or via WhatsApp at +234 803 8777 959 with the following details:

• Your full name and contact information
• Service/project name and invoice number
• Detailed explanation of the issue or reason for the refund request
• Any supporting documentation (screenshots, emails, etc.)

Step 2: Evaluation & Review

Upon receiving your refund request, our team will:

• Review your case within 3-5 business days
• Evaluate the work delivered against the agreed scope
• Attempt to resolve the issue through revisions or corrections if applicable
• Communicate our findings and decision via email

Step 3: Refund Processing

If your refund request is approved:

• We will process the refund to your original payment method
• Refunds will be credited within 10-15 business days of approval
• Partial refunds may be issued for partially completed projects
• You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed

4. Service-Specific Refund Terms

Web Development & E-commerce Projects

• Refunds are calculated based on completed milestones
• Design mockups, wireframes, and approved prototypes are non-refundable
• Development work that has passed quality assurance (QA) testing is non-refundable
• Custom code and features already integrated into your website are non-refundable

SEO Services & Digital Marketing

• Monthly SEO retainers are non-refundable for the current month once services have been rendered
• Completed keyword research, SEO audits, and content creation are non-refundable
• Backlinks acquired and content published on third-party sites are non-refundable
• If dissatisfied with results, we encourage discussion before the end of the billing cycle to explore adjustments

WordPress & Shopify Development

• Premium themes and plugins purchased specifically for your project are non-refundable
• Customization work already implemented on your WordPress or Shopify site is non-refundable
• Data migration and setup services are non-refundable once completed

Web Application Development (Custom Platforms)

• Given the custom nature of web applications (dating apps, marketplaces, booking systems, etc.), refunds are highly limited
• Refunds, if any, will be prorated based on completed development sprints
• Source code handed over to the client is non-refundable

5. Dispute Resolution

We believe in resolving issues amicably and professionally. If you have concerns about our services:

• Direct Communication: We encourage you to reach out to us directly before initiating any formal dispute or chargeback.
• Mediation: If we cannot resolve the issue internally, we are open to third-party mediation.
• Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of services and termination of our business relationship. Chargebacks also incur additional fees which may be billed to you.
